VISION

Through the use of our premises to provide a safe and loving environment that welcomes everyone.

To reach out on the street to those who may be at risk, vulnerable, or in need of help.

To ensure that homes within the south Ballymena area are presented with the Gospel message as we seek to care for all people who are made in the image of God.

To network with other Christian organisations and churches in Kingdom ministries.

GOALS

To connect with at least 20 families regularly at our premises, providing care and help.

To increase our presence on the streets and volunteer base of those willing to demonstrate their love for others and faith in Christ.

To reach at least 300 homes in the south Ballymena area providing clear testimony regarding the gospel message.

Seeking to work with 3 Christian organisations supporting each other in the work of mission.

CARING

One of the major demonstrations of God’s love for others is when Christians provide care for others. Not only is it God’s desire that we love Him with all our hearts, but also that we love others with the same love and attention that we would give to ourselves. Therefore, we encourage those who volunteer with us to provide examples of that care to others, not in a self-seeking way or subtly trying to draw attention to ourselves, but rather to direct their attention to Jesus, who loves them more than they could imagine.

SHARING

We believe that many within the town of Ballymena are not aware of the extreme deprivation, emotional hardship, and vulnerability experienced by residents within our communities. That includes those who find themselves homeless as a result of difficult circumstances. We are appealing to all who have the concern to continue to provide to the many charitable organisations within our town that provide much-needed help in the way of provisions and support, along with helping to provide us with resources to carry out or ministry and mission.

PROPERLY BUZZED

For those who have been buzzed before, it can feel good, at least for a short time. Although being properly buzzed is something that might be worth thinking about. True life is never easy, certainly being a Christian isn’t, but Jesus did claim that whilst the enemy Satan comes to destroy our lives Christ had come to bring us a true and fulfilling life. (John 10:10). If that is true and we believe it is, then there is a right type of buzz that will last forever. I suppose that is one of the reasons that the Bible calls the gospel message, ‘good news’. Interestingly, when the Holy Spirit fell on people in the early church, people thought they acted as if they were drunk (Acts 2:15). Not so, they had just received the joyful, life-changing presence of the Spirit. That is the hope we want to present on the streets of Ballymena. That being born-again of God’s Holy Spirit changes everything.
